If you have had a few nightcaps with us, then you all know that most of our topics thus far have been surrounding e college woes. However, many of our teens are facing far greater problems. In the wake of unconstitutional practices such as Stop and Frisk and police using excessive force, the faces of our youth are at risk of being slammed against the concrete or the hood of a car on any given day.
So, on this episode of NIGHTCAP, criminal justice professional Janet Garcia-Hallett shares facts about our rights and what are some of the things teens and their parents can do if they ever come in contact with the juvenile justice system. The show ends with the poignant prose of spoken word artist Penda Smith.
