Clip of the Week: “The BJ Rubin Show: A Night at the Met 2, Part I”

With all eyes on the United Nations this week, we turn to MNN’s own BJ Rubin, host and producer of “The BJ Rubin Show” and full-time U.N. employee in the Department of Political Affairs. Check out “The BJ Rubin Show” for a trippy and refreshing musical experience, as musical guests perform, interspersed with guest announcers and mini-scenes. “A Night at the Met 2, Part I” includes music by Jeffrey Lewis, Moon Duo, Frankie Cosmos, Creep Highway, Darren Hayman, U.S. Girls, Circuit de Yeux, Cotton Candy, and People, set against the Met’s artwork from artists including Dali and Lichtenstein. It’s an unexpected, zany, and sharp mash-up of traditional and edgy, straight-laced and irreverent, that defines “The BJ Rubin Show.”
