MNN Producer's Song to be Featured in Annual Vigil for International Peace and Ecology
Maybe you've already heard a lot of buzz about the peace events happening all over the world this weekend. Sunday, September 21st is the International Day of Peace, and hundreds of organizations, including the United Nations,will hold marches, vigils and other gatherings to honor this year's theme, "Right of Peoples to Peace."
Here's some exciting news: MNN community producer Danny Darrow will be featured at one of the most prominent events on Sunday, the Vigil for International Peace and Ecology, held at the Central Park bandshell. Darrow's song "Let There Be Peace" has become an anthem of the movement, and he'll be performing it solo. Watch this video - an MNN special Darrow created and starred in a few years ago - for a sneak peek of the song!
Check out the Vigil for International Peace and Ecology this Sunday at the Central Park bandshell from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Congrats to Mr. Darrow!
