Environmental causes took center stage this week, as the new president acted rapidly within his first few days in office to set his controversial agenda in motion. With an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) blackout on media releases and social media, and yesterday’s executive action to advance construction of the Keystone and Dakota Access Pipelines, environmentalists around the world reacted with dismay and alarm.
