This Week on MNN

It’s December, that month jam-packed with holiday parties and year-end gatherings. We’re in on the fun at MNN, with a week-long series of celebrations to help get you into the festive spirit of the season.  Kick off the week tonight with the 20th anniversary of “DemocracyNow!” with notable guests and hosts Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez. On Wednesday, celebrate with the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI) as we broadcast the ribbon-cutting of their new historic building this fall. Enjoy the music of “The Carmen Mathis Show” and “GingerNewYork” this Friday, then tune in to “Sistah Talk Comedy Fest IV” to finish up the week with big laughs. Yet December isn’t all about holiday merry-making at MNN. Tune into “The Facts” for thoughtful commentary on Sandra Bland, and watch “Gotta Run with Will” to learn about one man’s noble goal to help eradicate pediatric cancer.
