Giving voice to new artists: New York-based performer Dana Aber visits MNN's studios to talk about her acting career and new production company, Big Thunder Productions, which is dedicated to giving voice to new artists. This month, Big Thunder presents #YesAllWomen Raise Your Voice, a multi-city concert series in support of the movement for gender equality.
Aber has been seen in productions Off-Broadway and at the NYFringe Festival, the New York Musical Theatre Festival, the Apollo Theatre, the FDCAC/Classical Theatre of Harlem and many more. An ardent proponent for the creation of new musical theatre, Arber has worked for the past six years with New York University’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, workshopping and presenting new-musical thesis projects with the next generation of writers.
