The Connie Awards is a hilarious improv award show hosted by MNN Community Producer Connie Perry.  Connie created the award show to honor the art of live improvisational theater. Join Connie as she honors Shayne McKay, Nannette Deasy, Robert Baumgardner and Sam Katz.  

Consider it Blacklit highlights the arts and culture that feature African Americans both up front and behind the scenes. On this episode host Kim Singleton sits down with award-winning playwright Andrea Fulton to discuss her journey and recent play "Was It Me ?!?" Join these two remarkable women for an inspiring conversation. 

Active Aging Stories introduces viewers to senior citizens living active, creative and challenging lives. In this episode we take a look at the life of award winning weaver and artist Zenaide Reiss. Zenaide talks about growing up in NYC, and her journey to becoming the celebrated artist she is today.
