Saturday, November 1st, MNN's "INSIDE NEW YORK" salutes the work of Michael Schultz, the legendary theater, film and TV director. Schultz's latest film, "Awake: The Life of Yogananda," has been extended in New York theaters through November 7th.

In Part 2 of this exclusive interview, airing this Saturday at 8:30 pm, the Tony-nominated and award-winning director best known for his groundbreaking "coming of age" classic film, "Cooley High," takes us behind the scenes of this cult classic as well as other popular and award-winning films that helped him to become one of the most sought after directors in Hollywood.

Schultz's films, which are credited with changing the face of Hollywood, include "Cooley High," "Car Wash," "Greased Lightning," "Which Way is Up?," "Krush Groove," "The Last Dragon," and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." Schultz has also directed many of TV's biggest hit series, including "The Rockford Files," "Starsky and Hutch," "Baretta," "The Practice," "Ally McBeal," and "Cold Case."
