It's been no secret that the Mayor was planning to run.   In recent months he has campaigned/visited Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, and New Hampshire.  He heads to Iowa and South Carolina again this weekend.

So now that it's official, what does this mean for New York City and its residents?  A Quinnipiac poll from April showed 4 out of 5 New Yorkers think the mayor shouldn’t run. De Blasio has been Mayor of NYC since 2014.  What do you think?
