Welcome back to Clip of the Week! Since implementation of the Affordable Care Act is now in full swing, we thought you'd appreciate this recent segment from MNN's Civic Programming, original TV that helps you engage with Manhattan's community, culture and civic life on a new level.

Hosting the conversation is C. Virginia Fields, who served as Manhattan Borough President from 1998 to 2005 and is now president and CEO of the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, Inc, an organization that seeks to educate, mobilize and empower black leaders to tackle health challenges in the black community. Joining Fields to parse the new law is Gregory Hankins, the founder and CEO of Retirement Aspirations, a company that administers and educates on employer-sponsored health and retirement plans.

With decades of experience in the field, Hankins is able to offer the explanation of the law - and what it means for a typical family - that New Yorkers have been waiting for. Watch the video to learn all about New York's health insurance exchange - what it is, how it works, and the "essential benefits" (health care services like tests and checkups) you can expect from a plan when you sign up. Don't miss it!

Tune into MNN's Civic Programming every Sunday from 9 pm to midnight MNN1 (TWC 34, RCN 82, FiOS 33) and streaming live on MNN.org.
