The Radical Imagination host Jim Vrettos is a Sociologist who has taught at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Yeshiva University. On this episode, Jim talks with the creator of the Cloward-Piven strategy and Professor of Political Science at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, Frances Fox Piven. Also on this episode is Ira Glasser who was the director of the American Civil Liberties Union from 1978 to 2001 and the subject of the civil liberties documentary Mighty Ira.
