Join us for a week of laughter as MNN Community Producers introduce us to some of NYC’s local comedians, improv actors and help us rediscover an old British sitcom. Please be advised This Week on MNN’s National Humor Month theme is intended for mature audiences. 

Do you remember when Public Access was simple and charming? Well The Staten Island Comedy Show is vintage public access with green screens, fake mustaches and dad jokes. Join host Nevin Cummings as he introduces viewers to local comedians and much more. 

Ginger New York is a fun and entertaining program on MNN that highlights performing artists and musicians from around the country. On this episode Ginger is joined by students of Peoples Improv Theater to discuss all things improv.  

Media Funhouse has been on MNN for over 20 years and has amassed somewhat of a cult following in NYC. According to host Ed Grant he offers viewers “the best in everything from high art to low trash and back again.” On this program you’ll see rare footage, original reviews, reflections on pop culture and arthouse cinema. Join Ed this week as he discusses scenes from the cult British sitcom 15 Storeys High, written by and starring the late comedian Sean Lock
