This Week on MNN: National Reading Month

In 2011 the Department of Education created National Reading month to promote the love of reading. This Week on MNN we highlight community programs that introduce us to books that inspire, educate and entertain readers.

Community Board 8 Speaks is a program produced by community board members from NYC”s Upper Eastside. On this episode Public Member Monica McKane talks with Community Board Member Peggy Price to discuss her book Single Women and Money. Peggy Price joined the Community Board 8 of Manhattan in 2002 and has served on numerous committees from Parks to the Women and Families Committee. Her new book teaches women how to live well on their income. Join us on MNN to get some great financial tips.
