The Lower East Side Biography Project is a program dedicated to preserving the history of NYC and introducing viewers to amazing New Yorkers like Judith Malina, who co-founded NYC’s  The Living Theater. According to Judith “The Living Theater” is a company of actors who want to bring about the beautiful, non-violent, anarchist revolution. We wanted to find a theater that would grow with history and in history.” Watch this intriguing throwback conversation only on MNN.

Feminismo Global is a special Spanish language program produced by MNN’s El Barrio Firehouse Community Media Center to commemorate 2022’s International Women's Day. Firehouse Director Zenaida Mendez and former NYC Council Member Margarita Lopez invited leaders of the Cooperative Feminist Movement in Puerto Rico, Migdalia Santiago and Edmarie Vargas Mercado to discuss the economic and social challenges they are facing on the island.

La directora del Firehouse Zenaida Méndez, y la ex concejal de la ciudad de Nueva York, Margarita López, invitaron a las líderes del movimiento feminista cooperativo en Puerto Rico, Migdalia Santiago y Edmarie Vargas Mercado, para hablar de los desafíos economicos y sociales que enfrentan en la isla.
