Represent NYC is a weekly program produced by Manhattan Neighborhood Network that gives local elected officials the chance to update voters about the issues shaping the future of our city. On this episode Olivia Bardy of NYC Votes hosts a panel discussion on how to further engage young people in civic and local politics. Panelists include Power NYC Ambassadors Ryan La Barrie and Nikita Cherin as well as NY Public Library’s Teen Civic Engagement Intern Kaelin Motoasele.

Show Up for Asians / AAPI! A Vigil for Uptown Solidarity  was a vigil that was covered by MNN on March 30th, 2021. Different groups, organizations, and elected officials from Uptown Manhattan gathered to show solidarity for the Asian-American community in wake of the violence they have experienced in recent months. Watch This week on MNN for this inspiring event.  

Sounds of El Barrio is a special produced at MNN’s El Barrio Firehouse. On this edition MNN’s Firehouse staff invited Dominican duo MABI to our studio. Based in NYC this extraordinary band has a modern Latin folk sound sprinkled with tropical flavor. Join them for some original songs that according to the band “speaks to those seeking depth.” 

The Art Settlers of New York hosted by Rafafela “Ronnie” Billini is a program that aims to highlight artists of all genres and everything cultural in the dynamic city of NY. This Week Ronnie talks with Executive Director of Teatro La Tea, Miguel Treyes, about the 2021 Borimix Puerto Rico Fest that takes place annually at The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural & Educational Center.
