Represent NYC is a weekly program produced by Manhattan Neighborhood Network that gives local elected officials the chance to update voters about the issues shaping the future of our city. On this episode Olivia Bardy of NYC Votes hosts a panel discussion on how to further engage young people in civic and local politics. Panelists include Power NYC Ambassadors Ryan La Barrie and Nikita Cherin as well as NY Public Library’s Teen Civic Engagement Intern Kaelin Motoasele.
Show Up for Asians / AAPI! A Vigil for Uptown Solidarity was a vigil that was covered by MNN on March 30th, 2021. Different groups, organizations, and elected officials from Uptown Manhattan gathered to show solidarity for the Asian-American community in wake of the violence they have experienced in recent months.
