Health Action TV is hosted by former Manhattan Borough President and President and CEO of the National Black Leadership Commission on Health (NBLCH), C. Virginia Fields. Through advocacy and empowerment NBLCH focuses on 8 areas of health disparities that directly and disproportionately impact Black communities. In this episode we are joined by Dr. Icilma Fergus Rowe, Director of Cardiovascular Disparities at Mount Sinai Medical Center to discuss the impact that Covid-19 has on patients who suffer from heart disease.

On this episode Anna talks with MNN Community Producer Elizabeth Flores about her show Adventures of My Ballerina and Me and the at home performance space that she built during the pandemic. Also on this edition of Stuck in the House, Richard has a very important conversation with Community Producer Dr. Majid Ali, producer of Science, Health and Healing. Dr. Ali advocates the use of natural non pharmaceutical remedies and dietary habits to strengthen the body against virus and disease.
