This Week on MNN: Pride Month

Pride celebrations are in full gear around the country and at MNN. Watch This Week on MNN for a look at Stonewall’s 50th anniversary and for updates on current celebrations.

Out Loud, hosted by Anthony Parker gives the New York City LGBTQ+ community a voice by showcasing the queer experience and highlighting the hard work done by community leaders and organizations. On this episode Parker talks with Robert Voorheis and his husband Michael Sabatine, two prominent figures in the fight for marriage equality. The conversation focuses on this trailblazing couple's work and how they landed a spot at the Smithsonian Museums exhibit commemorating the 50th anniversary of Stonewall.

Gay USA with Anne Northrop and Andy Humm is one of MNN’s longest running TV shows. Join them this week for a Stonewall 50th anniversary “rewind”. In 2018 Anne and Andy held a panel discussion and invited an array of guests that included Martin Boyce, an original Stonewall veteran who was there the nights of the riots, Professor Karla Jay, an original member of the Gay Liberation Front and Jamie Adams, the Park Ranger in charge of The Stonewall National Monument. Join us for this amazing conversation only on MNN.

Something to Offer is an MNN show that goes to the heart of people living their dreams. Host/Producer Anne Marie Offer invites a bubbly, hard working performer who “knows how to keep life from being a drag,” to talk about her journey of becoming a celebrity in the NYC LGBTQ+ community.  Join us this week on MNN and meet Drag Queen Whendy Whaxwood, who’s make-up and outfit is so bright you'll have to wear shades!

Catch these conversations Sunday, June 13 at 1PM and Wednesday, June 16 at 7PM on MNN 5 (Spectrum 1993).
