They discuss a historic MTA settlement that provides more accessibility to New Yorkers who have disabilities. Dr Vaigneur, a LEADS specialist at York College (Linking Employment Academics and Disability Services) is committed to featuring people with disabilities and those who give them “space” in the world. On this episode we meet Lowery Lockard, Executive Director and founder of Ms. Wheelchair USA. They discuss the history of the pageant and what it means to the community. The Juggernaut Show is an informative and entertaining video podcast that motivates their communities. This lively group also won ACM’s 2023 HMA award for Information Talk show. Hosts, Datwan Cullins, Adhiambo Mitchell, Mike Favor and Shavasia Roberts are a group of friends that simply get together and discuss current events, social issues and politics. This episode titled “The Wheel Fell Off My Wheelchair” is a hilarious look at some of the mishaps that members of the disabled community experience.
