This Week on MNN

Earth Month has been observed since 1968 when a young student and his teacher realized that cleaning up a local creek was rewarding work but there was more to do. This annual observance aims to raise awareness and advocate for change around the issues most impacting our planet. Join us This Week on MNN as our Community Members join in on the Earth Month campaign.

The Environment TV focuses on air, water, land use and solutions in relation to environmental issues. On this episode Enviroment TV visits woodlands and campgrounds in Staten Island, shows off a wildlife calendar and gives viewers updates on NYS environment legislation.

Lucia’s Vegan Lifestyle is a show dedicated to helping you enjoy an all-around vegan lifestyle. This episode is all about Earth Month. Join Lucia as she attends a plant based food fair in Manhattan’s Flatiron District; talks with the founders of Vegan Earth Day March; and catches up with a vegan poet, author, & activist at a local vegan restaurant in the West Village.
