This Week on MNN Celebrates Black History Month. Join us as we start the month of February off by recognizing 2023’s national Black History Month theme, Black Resistance. On these special episodes we take a look back on events that rocked our nation, meet BLM artists committed to social change and join in on a lecture from Dr. Molefi Kete Asante. 

 

Community Cop is a long running community produced talk show hosted by the co-founders of 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care, retired NYPD officers Noel Leader, Michael Greys, Julian Harper. In this episode Micheal and Noel look back on events that rocked our nation. They discuss Abner Louima, Michael Brown, Watts Rebellion and more.

Conversations with Artists also known as Transboarder Art discusses the state of the art world today and how artists develop their process. On this episode host Jen Sanford holds a conversation with Wendell McShine and Tanika Willimas. These artists, through their work, aim to bring awareness, justice, healing, and freedom across the globe.

Community Action Roundtable provides viewers impactful programming that brings to light social justice issues.
