This Week on MNN commemorates World Aids Day.

Observed each year on December 1, World Aids Day is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show support for people living with HIV, and remember those who have died from HIV related illnesses. Join our community producers as they discuss HIV discrimination, vaccines, and much more.  

Out Loud, hosted by Anthony Parker gives the New York City LGBTQ+ community a voice by showcasing the queer experience and highlighting the hard work done by community leaders and organizations. On this episode Anthony talks with Project Achieve’s Junior Faculty Member Dr. Jorge Soler to discuss vaccines in relation to HIV and Covid-19. Watch this informative conversation on MNN.

Fortune Society's Both Sides of the Bars is a discussion driven show that examines the legal system from various perspectives including from people most impacted by the criminal justice system. On this episode Shereemer Chevannes, Policy Associate at The Fortune Society, talks with Betsy Ramos, a peer advocate at S.W.A.K and Grace DeTrevarah, LGBTQ liaison at The Osborne Association. Join this informative panel as they discuss housing discrimination and it’s harm to justice-impacted women, people living with HIV, and the LGBTQIA community.

HIV Awareness and Education Webinar is a panel discussion hosted by The All of Us Research program, a group of researchers joined in an historic effort to collect and study data from one million or more people living in the United States. In the discussion you will meet Dr. Micheal Cobert, Director of the Comprehensive AIDS program. Joining Dr Colbert is Dr. Carrasquillo, a national expert in minority health and community based participatory research. Join us and learn a little more about HIV / AIDS through this discussion.
