Represent NYC: Success at the State Level

In November 2018, New Yorkers elected new senators into office. Today, 40 Democrats and 22 Republicans hold a Senator position in New York State. A few months after the Democratic party took control back of the Senate, 92 bills have been signed into law, some including protection of gender identity or expression, women’s reproductive rights, voting rights and the DREAM Act. 

Represent NYC guest-host Council Member Keith Powers is joined by New York State Senator Liz Krueger and New York State Assemblymember Richard N. Gottfried to discuss the Success at the State Level.
