The Radical Imagination: Imagining the Academic World without Dark Money

Higher Education is meant to be a positive step for young people looking to grow and learn so they can make an impact on the world. However, secret “dark money” is being used by a select group of billionaires, known as the Koch Brothers, to manipulate the curriculums and recruitment so that students are at the mercy of their radical right ideology.

On this episode of “The Radical Imagination,” Jim Vrettos sits down with Connor Gibson to discuss dark money in academia, the damage it’s causing and what’s being done to expose this scandal.

Connor Gibson is a researcher and journalist on the Greenpeace Investigation team. He focuses on polluting industries, their front groups and PR operatives, particularly focusing on the Koch Brothers. He is also the co-founder of UnKoch My Campus.
