Race to Represent: An Interview with State Senator Brian Benjamin
In 2017, Senator Brian Benjamin was elected to the NY State Senate in a special election after the seat was left vacant by Bill Perkins. In just one year, he’s sponsored 23 bills and hopes to continue serving the people of Harlem and the Upper West Side next year.
