‘Nonprofit Challenges’ With Host Alice Yaker Will Offer Viewers and Guests The Opportunity to Share Solutions and Learn About Under-Accessed Resources New York, March 11, 2013—Manhattan Neighborhood Network is pleased to announce the premiere of “Nonprofit Challenges,” a new program dedicated to helping small nonprofit organizations in New York City confront the difficulties they face with information and support from their peers. The show debuts on the Community Channel (MNN1) on Sunday, March 24 2013 at 9pm.
Today’s Clip of the Week highlights two things that are dear to our hearts here at MNN: Local talent and the awesome cultural programming that comes out of our El Barrio Firehouse Community Media Center .
"Krush TV" is a strange amalgam of martial arts, comedy, music and art. Hosted by the enthusiastic Elamin Cabrio, the show boasts a look all its own--a colorful, handmade world, transferred from VHS, brimming with fun. Check it out, Tuesdays at 4:30 PM on MNN2! Next air dates: 3/12 and 3/19.
Manhattan Neighborhood Network has appointed Greg Sutton, veteran media educator and public access TV director, as Managing Director of Access Services. Sutton comes to MNN from BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn where he served for nine years as BRIC’s Director of Community Media and Executive Producer of the BCAT TV Network.
