Story and Photo by: Don Rojas It was an evening filled with youthful exuberance, hope, and promise. Fifteen excited young people from around the City of New York had gathered on mid-summer's eve at MNN’s new, cutting-edge Firehouse media center in the heart of Spanish Harlem on 104th Street. With friends and family in the audience, they celebrated the first-ever screening of youth produced mini documentaries at the media center, also known as the ‘Old Firehouse’.
" Goddesses ," on MNN now for over a decade, is a show about BBWs, or Big Beautiful Women. Hosted by Nancy Goddess , the show preaches "fun, fashion and size acceptance." Check it out, every Sunday night/Monday morning at 1:30 AM on MNN3. Next air dates: 10/15 and 10/22.
On Sunday, October 7 at 12PM on MNN1 , Inside New York continues it's 20 year celebration on MNN with Douglas Tuner Ward, Tony Award-winning actor and co-founder and Artistic Director of Negro Ensamble Company .

" Zenbock's Forte ,'" hosted by Zenbock , a mustached "blues alien," is a bleak look into the world of sci-fi conventions and Long Island blues bands. The show features oddball interviews, old-school graphics and a slew of latex and Vulcan ears. It's out of this world! Late Mondays/early Tuesdays at 1:30 AM on MNN1; next air dates: 10/2 and 10/16.
Looking for historical artifacts? Then check out " The People's Museum ," or the apartment of Mark and April Sepanski. Their museum houses obscure relics from Egypt, Africa and all over. They even have dinosaur bones! What's more, they present it in their own, strange fashion, inviting viewers to observe not only their collection, but their private life.
