Clip of the Week: "State of the Union"

The upcoming Labor Day holiday is more than just a reminder that summer is ending, it's a day meant to celebrate the contributions of American workers.

In the spirit of Labor Day, our Clip of the Week is from District Council 37 (DC 37), New York City's largest public employee union. "State of the Union" is a monthly show that updates Manhattan on how DC 37 is working on behalf of its over 120,000 members.

In this episode, newly elected Executive Director Henry Garrido talks about library funding and how DC 37 has joined with community groups to advocate for increased funding.
