Preparing for MNN's new HD Community Channel
It's an exciting June at MNN, as we unveil our plans to launch MNN's new HD Community Channel. Since the completion of our 2013 studio upgrade, all of our Community Producers have been creating and producing High Definition (HD) programs. In a few months, they'll have the opportunity to air their programs in HD!
"In media production, quality matters," said MNN's Programming Director Jeannette Santiago. "HD is the best, most cutting-edge broadcast technology available and we're excited that our community can now take full advantage of it."
The MNN Programming Department will spend the summer working with Community Producers who are interested in scheduling their program on our HD Community Channel, which will launch by the end of 2015, making MNN one of only a few community media centers nationwide that offers a full-HD channel to our producers.
