Thursday Night: Celebrating International Women’s Day on MNN!

Ever since the 2016 presidential election, the women’s movement has come roaring back to life as women fight to protect their reproductive rights, call out perpetrators of sexual harassment and demand equal pay.

Tomorrow on International Women’s Day, tune in for a discussion between four women’s rights activists about the #MeToo movement, toxic masculinity, the relationship between gender and poverty and so much more.

Featured panelists include Radhika Balakarishnan (Rutgers University), Andrea Arroyo (artist/activist), Ejim Dike (U.S. Human Rights Network) and Sanam Naraghi-Anderlini (International Civil Society Network).

Watch “The State of the World From a Feminist Perspective,” on Thursday, March 8 at 9pm on MNN1 (FiOS 33, RCN 82, Spectrum 34 & 1995), MNNHD (Spectrum 1993) or streaming live on mnn.org.
