8pm - The Radical Imagination: Imagining the Revolution and Bringing it About

Given the current state of our nation, many people are channeling their anger and feelings of helplessness into supporting the presidential candidate they believe will lead us into more stable and prosperous times.

This Sunday on “The Radical Imagination,” hear from one of those candidates as host Jim Vrettos of John Jay College for Criminal Justice talks with the Green Party’s nominee for President, Dr. Jill Stein, about her plans for the Green New Deal, the Power to the People Plan and a strong progressive movement.

Catch the repeat every Thursday at 8:00 pm on MNN4 (FiOS 36, RCN 85, TWC 67 & 1998 or streaming live) and MNN’s HD Community Channel (TWC 1993 or streaming live).

9pm - NBLCA’s Health Action TV: Reaching Youth to End HIV/AIDS

According to the Centers for Disease Control, youth ages 13-14 account for 1 in 5 HIV diagnoses and 44% of 18-24 year olds don’t even know they have the disease. How can we raise awareness, link people to treatment and ultimately end this epidemic?

This Sunday on the National Black Leadership Commission on Aids’ Health Action TV, host and CEO C. Virginia Fields and HIV/AIDS advocate, Raven Lopez discuss those questions. Watch as Lopez shares what is was like to grow up HIV positive and gives advice for the best way to talk to young people about HIV prevention and care.
