MNN is a place of learning, creating and collaborating. At our 59th St. Facility and the MNN El Barrio Firehouse Community Media Center in East Harlem, we offer free training in video production, editing, and broadcasting to all Manhattan residents. We also offer social justice focused media education and training to Manhattan's young people through our Youth Media Center. We actively strive to empower Manhattan residents to exercise their First Amendment rights in an open, uncensored and equitable forum. MNN oversees Manhattan's public access services and is the largest community media center in the country. We are also the largest media education institution in the City of New York, hosting more than 4,500 enrollees annually. Through our education and using our facilities and equipment, MNN Community Producers create more than 10,000 hours of original content each year that we cablecast on our channels and stream live online.
