Established in 1992, Manhattan Neighborhood Network is a media learning, production and distribution hub that promotes creative expression, independent voices and community engagement. Our vision is to empower local voices and diverse views.
We offer digital media classes, including camera, editing, and studio classes, to all Manhattan residents at both our 59th St. Facility and the MNN El Barrio Firehouse Community Media Center in East Harlem. We also offer social justice focused media education and training to Manhattan's young people through our Youth Media Center.
MNN operates Manhattan's cable TV public access services and we run a comprehensive media education program, hosting more than 3,000 enrollees annually. Through our education and video production servcies, MNN Community Producers create over 10,000 hours of original content each year, which is distributed on MNN cable TV channels and streamed live online.
