Sunday Night on Race to Represent: Democratic NY State Assembly Candidate Debates

New York’s primary elections are coming up on Thursday, September 13, and this year, all 150 state assembly seats are up for re-election. Are you ready to make your voice heard?

This Sunday on MNN’s “Race to Represent,” tune in to hear from Democratic hopefuls competing in Districts 68, 69, 71 and 74.

Watch as our moderators, Ben Max of Gotham Gazette, Elinor Tatum of NY Amsterdam News, Julie Walker of National Association of Black Journalists, ask the candidates pointed questions about how they plan to solve critical issues such as truly affordable housing, fixing the MTA, closing Rikers Island, protecting small businesses and so much more.
