Last week, Mattel released the world’s first gender neutral doll, and not everyone is a fan of the new toy. Parents across the nation became concerned with their children becoming confused with their sexuality, and fear having a “talk” with them at such a young age. But, numbers show that the newer generations now feel comfortable in expressing themselves and identify themselves as LGBTQ+. According to MetroSource, more than half of Generation Z (ages 13 to 20) does not identify as strictly heterosexual. So, now we ask, should doll diversity include sexuality?
