This Week on MNN: Asian Pacific American Month Part II

This Week on MNN, join us as we continue celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

In light of recent attacks against Asian American communities in the U.S. Riverside Church and  groups like the W.O.W Project, and Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA)  took to the streets. They called upon Latino, Indigenous, Black, Asian and white people across New York City to unite in the ongoing fight against racial capitalism and the carceral systems that uphold it. Watch this "Uptown March in Solidarity with Asians in America" only on MNN!

On March 30th, 2021 social justice groups, non-profit organizations and elected officials from Upper Manhattan gathered for a vigil to show solidarity for the Asian-American community. They shared stories of survival, mourned those lost and protested against the violence experienced by them in recent weeks. Join us for the moving "Uptown Vigil - Show Up for Asians/AAPI".

Sunday, May 16 at 12:30PM and Wednesday, May 19 at 6PM on MNN 5 (Spectrum 1993).
