Producer Spotlight: Lese Dunton

Lese Dunton is a journalist who began writing children’s books three years ago. Her series of books is called Charlotte’s New York Adventure and follows the fictitious accounts of a young girl’s journey to bring positivity to New York City. Lese often writes the books’ narratives based on the suggestions of kids that she talks too. She finds children creative and delightful and that’s what sparked her idea to create a show at MNN in which she interviews children on a variety of topics and lets them determine the conversation. In this video, Lese discusses her books, the first episode of her show called Kids Talking, and her experience at MNN as a new producer.
