Coming Up on the Youth Channel: One & All
Hall bells are ringing. Lockers are full. School is now in session. It may feel like a drag getting up early in the morning to go to school and learn something you think will not be useful in the future. (I mean, who even uses trigonometry in the real world?) Learn to turn a not-so-fun situation into a productive and interesting one. If you have club hours, meet up with a couple of friends and plan meetings about something you wish to change in your school–or think bigger. Is there something in your community that could be changed for the better? Ask a teacher to assist and guide the process of to do some social good. Join the Youth Channel for a week of special programming about uniting forces with peers to overcome social stigmas and issues.
The Youth Channel airs programming every weeknight from 6-7pm on MNN 4 (FiOS 36, RCN 85, Spectrum 67 & 1998) and MNN HD (Spectrum 1993). To learn about MNN’s Youth Media Center and the work they produce, click here.
