Starring Armand Assante and Antonio Banderas in his first English-language role, it celebrates the crossover music of Cuba.

MNN’s Film Series presents The Cinema of Immigration. This 10-week series explores the immigrant experience in the U.S. through films that reflect its ethnic and cultural diversity. Mark Ethan Toporek introduces each screening and leads discussion afterward.
