Let Them Talk host Paul DeRienzo sits down with the late Nicholas Heyward Sr. to talk about a very serious case that involved the murder of his son, Nicholas Heyward Jr. by a New York City Police Officer in 1994. Since 1994 until his death in 2019 Mr. Heyward fought tirelessly for justice for the murder of his son and other victims of police brutality. 

Presencia Taina TV - Human-Scale City has been highlighting community issues on MNN for the last 10 years.  Viewers are invited to ask community activists, politicians and urban experts how they can fight to keep their neighborhoods affordable and safe. In this episode East Harlem’s Roger Hernandez of El Barrio Unite! discusses the neighborhood’s rich history and the pressures of urban renewal. 

Straight Off the Canvas, an award winning film by Anthony Saldana profiles visually impaired artists in New York City. In his film Saldana introduces us to artist Elizabeth Castellano and art teacher at Lavelle School for the Blind Jessica Jones. In this program these two incredible women share their experiences and knowledge of art with the next generation.
