Submit to the 2018 Hometown Media Awards!

This year’s Hometown Media Awards is fast approaching, and we’d love to invite our community producers to submit some of your favorite work from 2017!

Every year, the Alliance For Community Media (ACM) honors local community public access television, specifically to reward programming that “addresses community needs, develops diverse community involvement, challenges conventional commercial television formats, and moves viewers to experience television in a different way.”

In addition to bragging rights, Hometown Media Awards winners will receive a personalized plaque and all winning entries and honorable mentions will be listed on the ACM website with links to your entry. The winners will be announced at ACM’s annual awards dinner in Baltimore in July. Selected entries may be included in sampler tapes and other materials used by ACM to promote community media. The online submission deadline is March 22, 2018.

MNN Community Producers will pay a reduced submission fee of $50. Funds raised go to support the Foundation of the Alliance for Community Media.

When you look good, we look good, so we hope you send your best stuff! Good luck, and may the best media win!
