Next to a Computer

Can you imagine being more than 35 years without doing what you love and then being able to do it again?

That is the story of Quilvio Fernandez, who used to be a comedian and television producer in the Dominican Republic. He stopped working in television in 1964 and took a job as a tailor. Despite the change in career, he never stopped loving the media.

In 2000 his friend told him about MNN and Quilvio couldn't believe how MNN was able to help him to realize his goal of coming back to television.

“Thank you to MNN I was able to create media again.”

Right now Quilvio produces Fuera De Serie which airs every two weeks on Saturdays at 10 pm on MNN4. Quilvio interviews and documents different events happening in his community.

“If you have the talent and want to create media come to MNN, they will teach you. Their classes are very affordable.”

Quilvio Fernandez's story showed us how it is never too late to accomplish your dreams.
