sorry we're closed sign

Due to the deepening NYC Covid-19 health crisis, and its impact on MNN staff and operations, all MNN facilities will be closed to community producers, students and the general public from January 15 until further notice. Simply put, the increasing number of infections, as well as the growing rate of infections, means that MNN can no longer keep our staff and community safe while using MNN facilities and in-person services.

Equipment reservations, including field, studio, edit and upload stations at 59th St and the Firehouse, are canceled until further notice. Please reach out to production@mnn.org if you have any questions.

MNN cable TV programming and online uploads will operate as usual. Media submission deadlines will not change and uploading media will not be impacted by this closure. And for those producers who currently have active projects with time slots on MNN channels, it is important that you keep submitting your programs according to MNN’s submission requirements. You can review MNN’s Policies here. Live programmers should ensure that you have files uploaded to our server for playback. Please reach out to program@mnn.org or call 212-757-2670 ext 305 if you have any questions about the status of your show or to discuss any challenges you may be having producing and submitting your program to MNN.

All in-person winter classes through the end of March are canceled but online classes remain open, including formerly hybrid classes. Go our Learn Page for all the latest or email education@mnn.org for further information.

If you have production or post-production questions, need information on classes, have issues uploading your show, or need programming support, you can always connect with our staff via Zoom on Virtual MNN Monday thru Friday from 3pm-5pm. You can register to attend a Zoom meeting session here.

The Covid-19 crisis is an ever evolving situation and MNN will be sure to provide updates if and when circumstances warrant. In the meantime, please be sure to check our web site for any new information and, of course, check your email inbox for messages from MNN.
