Clip of the Week: "Sistah Talk"

Happy Friday, everyone! We hope you're enjoying this break in the cold (cold, cold) weather. Since the dreaded, depressing "polar vortex" is due to return next week, we thought we'd use today's Clip of the Week to offer you a laugh or two. "Sistah Talk" delivered! This weekly talk and variety show recently welcomed Nicky Sunshine, an NYC-based comedian and actress who has performed at prominent venues like Stand-Up NY and New York Comedy Club.

In the episode, Sunshine performs stand-up live from MNN's 59th Street studios, joking about online dating, men and her love of weaves. Watch the video to join in the laughter (you can totally hear the show's host, Dietra Kelsey, and crew cracking up in the background). Interspersed with the act is a fascinating interview in which Sunshine talks about what it's like to be a (rare) female comedian - and how adopting a sense of confidence can help women achieve their goals.
