Advanced Classes

MNN's advanced classes offer in-depth training and are open to producers certified in each class's specified prerequsites.

Please note: There is a non-refundable and non-transferable class registration fee for advanced classes at all MNN facilities. You can pay online via credit card or you can pay in person by check, money order or credit card. To pay in person, please visit MNN's 59th St. Facility Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm or the El Barrio Firehouse Community Media Center during business hours.

This 12-week intensive filmmaking course will give students the opportunity to work in a team environment to produce a 4-7-minute mini-documentary based on a theme developed by the media education department.
In this course you will learn graphic design basics, how to navigate the Adobe Photoshop CC interface, build and navigate layers and how to create shapes and text so you can create a custom logo.
