P.S.A. Curriculum
This 7-session series culminates in the production and public screening of two Public Service Announcements (PSAs). In planning, shooting, and editing two PSA's, students will develop skills and habits for successful collaboration, media literacy, and video production. They will learn to develop a clear message or viewpoint to verbally and visually persuade an audience.
Documentary Curriculum
In this 10-session series, students plan, shoot, and edit a five-to 10-minute documentary. Students will develop skills and habits for successful collaboration, media literacy, and video production.
Facilitator's Curriculum
This booklet and the accompanying PowerPoint presentation are intended to guide practitioners through facilitating a Media Literacy Workshop in 6 parts. An excellent resource for exercises and discussion points, this series can be expanded or adjusted to suit the needs of any group.
