Through the Summer at Youth Channel program, Youth Channel partners up with the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development as a worksite for the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). During their stay at Summer at Youth Channel, NYC youth receive training as camera persons, editors, writers, and reporters, all while producing news segments on issues that matter to them.
Commitment:
Summer at Youth Channel participants must commit to working Monday through Thursday, from 10 AM to 4 PM, for six weeks during the summer.
