AIDS at Home: Art and Everyday Activism - Interview at MCNY

According to GMHC, 114,000 New Yorkers are living with HIV/AIDS and HIV is the third leading cause of death for NYC residents ages 35-54. If these health problems are affecting such a large population of our city's people, why aren't we hearing more about the epidemic and prevention techniques?

MNN's Summer 2017 Youth Media Center interns had the chance to address this question and more with Stephen Vider, the curator of the "AIDS at Home" art exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York

Watch the video for a sneak peek of the exhibit, which runs until October 22. Plus learn about the impact of HIV and AIDS on the New York City community over the years. Want to know more? Visit the exhibit before it's gone!
