State of the Borough 2017: A special presentation of Represent NYC

On Sunday, February 12, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer delivered the 2017 State of the Borough Address on the new age of activism in Manhattan and how you can get involved. Joining Borough President Brewer were Jennifer Jones Austin from the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, Angela Fernandez from the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights, Janella Hinds from the United Federation of Teachers, Andrew Rasiej from Civic Hall and the Personal Democracy Forum and Gene Stone, Author of The Trump Survival Guide.

The 2017 State of the Borough aired on Manhattan Neighborhood Network as a special episode of “Represent NYC.” New episodes air every Sunday at 7pm and repeat on Wednesdays at 9pm on MNN1 (TWC 34 & 1995, RCN 82, FiOS 33), MNN's HD Community Channel (TWC 1993) or streaming live on mnn.org.
