A week from Saturday, on January 21, organizers are planning a Women’s March on Washington, D.C. and other cities throughout the nation and the globe to advocate for the equality of women and other marginalized groups. In that spirit, we present MNN programming this week featuring women who are transforming the American landscape. On “The Woman’s Connection,” entrepreneur and motivational speaker Sue Phillips discusses her career; the leadership team of an all-women’s sports news source appears on “Gotta Run with Will;” and Lenore von Stein displays her story-telling prowess on “The Facts” in another installation of the January series on women and their circumstances. Plus tune into Youth Channel programming this week for youth programming featuring young women (and men!) using media to make their voices heard.
