Encore presentation: As social media and internet usage is on the rise, instances of cyberbullying and online harassment are increasing along with it. Show host Will Sanchez speaks with Jeff Irvine and Henwood Hounds runner Mary Darling about their work with, an online behavioral risk management and tracking tool that allows schools to promote positive behaviors and address the bullying epidemic.

Builder of a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang replica car Tony Garofalo visits “GingerNewYork” this week to discuss his meeting with Dick Van Dyke and his role as John Lennon in the Beatles tribute band “Strawberry Fields.” Since 2000, the band has performed Saturday Brunch at B.B. King Blues Club in Times Square, and Tony Garofalo has been repeatedly cited by critics and news publications as the world’s foremost John Lennon impersonator.

Youth Channel Programming

New York took steps in the right direction last week as Governor Cuomo signed legislation that Raised the Age and will make free tuition a reality for more of our state’s youth. Next week on the Youth Channel, tune in to programming that features young people who are taking charge of their lives and doing what’s best for them.


Watch “Girls Empowered,” “Closed to Open,” and “State of Mind” to hear from youth who struggled to make big decisions and check out “NightCap” for an inspiring story about a young recording artist who worked hard to become a star.
