Cancellations can be made in person or over the phone during our general operating hours, or by leaving a message at extension 314 or 318. If a cancellation is left on the voice mail, it is the responsibility of the producers to make sure their cancellation was received in a timely manner. Producers should also make a note of who they spoke to when canceling their reservation. (A late cancellation or failure to appear for a scheduled reservation will count as a regular session, meaning that your budget will still be charged for the unused hours.) In addition you will receive two (2) Violation Points for the late cancellation. See below for details on Violation Point System.
According to the Point System for Attendance Violations, a LATENESS = 1 point, a LATE CANCELLATION = 2 points, and a NO SHOW = 3 points. An accumulation of NINE points or more within the quarter will result in a suspension of two weeks in the Production Department.

*Due to heavy weekend usage, all Friday returns must be made no later than 5pm on Fridays.
*Field return penalties will be strictly enforced due to other producers picking up packages. Returns made after 8pm will automatically result in a two-week suspension.

FAILURE TO CONTACT THE PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF A SCHEDULED RETURN WILL RESULT IN A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT REPORTED TO THE POLICE.
*Exceptions to the late cancellation policy will be made for producers who can provide adequate documented proof that a legitimate emergency caused their late cancellation. Cancellation by all or part of crew or talent, or personal appointments that run late do not constitute a legitimate emergency.
